In such cases, we need to increase or decrease size of the document. Its like adding or subtracting working area in a document.<br />

Its very easy to do. You can increase / decrease size of a document using canvas size.<br />
<strong>Image >> canvas Size..</strong></p>
<p>Keyboard shortcut is <strong>ALT + CTRL + C</strong></p>
<p>Remember, its different from &#8220;Image size&#8221;. Using <strong>Image >> Image size</strong>, complete image gets compressed or expanded. Working area is not added or subtracted. </p>

<p>Set foreground color to white. Press and hold shift key and draw few circular shapes of different sizes.<br />

<p><strong>Step 3:</strong><br />
Press and hold <strong>ctrl</strong> key and click on the circular shapes layer. This will load all circular shapes.</p>
<p>Go to: <strong>Select &gt;&gt; Modify &gt;&gt; Contract</strong>.<br />

<p><strong>Step 4:</strong><br />
Right click circular shape layer and select &#8220;Rasterize Layer&#8221;. Now press delete key. Change opacity to 60%.</p>
<p><strong>Step 5:</strong><br />
Create a new layer (Layer &gt;&gt; New Layer)<br />
Fill the selection with white color. Change opacity to 20%. Press <strong>CTRL + D</strong> to de-select selection.<br />

Create a new layer. (Layer >> New >> Layer) and Select &#8220;Brush Tool&#8221;.<br />

<p>Select a soft brush and set a big diameter according to size of light effect you want to add. Also set opacity to 60%<br />

<p>and click once on top of the image. A light effect will be added. After adding light effect the image will look like this.<br />
