Add broken border to a Photo

This is a nice and easy method to add grunge type or broken type of torn type border to a photo. The method will take hardly 2 minute.

Step 1:
Open any photo to which you want to add broken border. I am using below image.

Step 2:
Select rectangular marquee tool and make a selection leaving about 20 px margin.

Step 3:
Click “Add layer mask” icon.

Now we have something like below.

Step 4:
Go to Filter >> Brush Strokes >> Spatter.. and apply following settings:


Done !!!
We have added broken border to the photo. Below is the final image.
