Guides are horizontal or vertital lines that can be placed or positioned anywhere on the image surface. To create guides, enable Rulers.
Vier -> Rulers
Place mouse cursor on the ruler, and drag down to required position.
How to delete a Guide:

Rulers in Photoshop

Photoshop can display a horizontal rulers across the top of the screen and a vertical ruler along the left side of the screen.
To display ruler, follow this:
From main menu -> View -> Rulers

You can change ruler unit. Follow this to chnage ruler unit.
Edit -> Preferences -> Units & Rulers

Restoring Image to 100%View in Photoshop

This is quick method to restore image to 100% view. Just double click the “Zoom” tool icon in the tool palette.

Another alternative to way to restore 100% view of any image is:
From main menu – > View – > Actual pixel.

The Navigator in Photoshop

The navigator is a map of the image. Its gives you preview of the image as a thumbnail. Navigator appears as default in right side. If its not appearing, follow this:
Main Menu – > Windows – > Navigator

The Zoom Tool in Photoshop

The Zoom tool in photoshop is fast way to take a closer look at the image. Click “zoom” tool from “tool palette”.

Now click or select area of image which you want to zoom. If you want to reduce the size of image, click on negative zoom icon from top menu, and click on the image.

The Notes Tool in Photoshop

Notes tool in photoshop let you attach reminder notes to the image. You can add reminder as written note or as audio recording.
To create a written note:
Right Click on Note tool in the “Tools palette”, and select “Notes Tools”.
